Agent skills for real problems
Agent skills put Vidbyte's agents to work on one real problem each, such as fixing every pull request that went red after a merge. Find one at vidbyte.pro/agents/skills, copy its prompt, and paste it into Claude Code, Codex, or the coding agent you already use.
From agents to finished work
vidbyte-cli runs the agents: a Task Board, a Persistent Researcher, a Suggestion Agent, and more. An agent skill is the layer on top, a short guide that teaches your coding agent how to combine those agents to solve one everyday problem from start to finish.
One problem per skill — Each skill is named for the job you want done, like “Resolve merge conflicts on your PRs”, not for the agent behind it.
Built on Vidbyte's agents — The skill tells your coding agent which Vidbyte agent to run, with which commands, and what to check before and after.
Runs where you already work — Skills install into Claude Code, Codex, Cursor, Gemini CLI, GitHub Copilot, OpenCode, and Windsurf.
Open source — Every skill is a SKILL.md file in the public vidbyte-cli repository, so you can read exactly what it will do before you use it.
Problems skills already solve
A few skills you can use today. Each page explains what the skill does, which agent it runs, and what it asks you before it changes anything.
Resolve merge conflicts on your PRs
Implement GitHub issues
Research a competitor
Use a skill in three steps
No setup file to edit and no command to memorize: find, copy, paste. Your coding agent does the rest.
Find the skill for your problem
Open the agent skills directory and search for the job you want done, or filter by agent and topic. Open a skill to read what it does.
Copy its prompt
On the skill's page, switch the install box to Prompt and press copy. The prompt tells your coding agent where the skill lives, how to install it, and what to do next.
A copied skill prompt
Install the "resolve-pr-conflicts" agent skill from https://github.com/cerredz/vidbyte-cli by running `npx skills add cerredz/vidbyte-cli --skill resolve-pr-conflicts`. It is for this: Fix the open pull requests that went red after a merge. One agent per PR keeps both sides' changes, runs your checks, and pushes only what you approve. After it installs, read its SKILL.md, run its preflight checks, and then use it on what I am working on right now.Paste it into your coding agent
Paste the prompt into Claude Code, Codex, or the coding harness of your choice. It installs the skill, checks that vidbyte-cli is installed and signed in, and then works on your problem. That's it.
Prefer to install from the command line?
Each skill page's Command tab holds the same install as one line you run yourself.
Install one skill
npx skills add cerredz/vidbyte-cli --skill resolve-pr-conflictsInstall every skill at once
Adds every Vidbyte agent skill, so your coding agent can pick the right one when you describe a problem.
Install all skills
npx skills add cerredz/vidbyte-cliWhat does a skill need?
vidbyte-cli installed and signed in, and balance on your Vidbyte account for the agent runs it starts. Skills that drive Codex also need Codex and an OpenAI key; the skill's preflight checks tell you what is missing.
Read every skill on GitHub
Skills live in the skills folder of the public vidbyte-cli repository, one folder and one SKILL.md per skill. Read one before you use it, follow new skills as they land, or open an issue to ask for one.
