Vidbyte is an educational tool designed students. Users can input text prompts, and the Service generates 1-2 minute video responses using a large language model (LLM). The generated videos are intended to assist with learning but may not always be 100% accurate, complete, or of high quality.
2. Eligibility
The Service is intended for users who are high school or college students, typically aged 13 and older. If you are under 13, you may not use the Service. If you are between 13 and 18, you represent that your parent or legal guardian has reviewed and agreed to these Terms on your behalf.
3. Subscription and Payment
- Vidbyte operates on a subscription-based model. Subscription fees, billing cycles, and payment methods will be detailed at the time of signup.
- All fees are non-refundable unless otherwise required by law.
- We may change subscription pricing with prior notice. Continued use after such changes constitutes acceptance of the new pricing.
4. User Accounts
- To use the Service, you must create an account with a valid email address, first name, last name, and subscription details.
- You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities under your account.

5. Content Ownership and Licensing
- User Prompts: You retain ownership of the text prompts you input into the Service. By submitting prompts, you grant Vidbyte a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, process, and store them to generate videos and improve the Service.
- Generated Videos: Ownership of videos generated by the Service is shared between you and Vidbyte. You may use the videos for personal, non-commercial educational purposes. Vidbyte retains the right to use, modify, and distribute the videos to provide and enhance the Service.
- Vidbyte reserves all rights to the underlying technology, algorithms, and intellectual property used to create the videos.
6. Acceptable Use
- You may not input prompts that contain illegal content, including but not limited to hate speech, threats, pornography, or material that infringes on third-party rights.
- Vidbyte reserves the right to review prompts and generated content. We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate this section.
7. Data Collection
- We collect your email, first name, last name, subscription details, and the prompts you input. This data is used to provide the Service, process payments, and communicate with you.
- Prompt data may be used to improve the Service but will not be shared publicly in a way that identifies you.
8. Disclaimers
- Accuracy and Quality: The videos generated by Vidbyte are provided "as is." We do not guarantee that they will be 100% accurate, complete, or of high quality. Some videos may contain errors or be of low quality due to the nature of AI generation.
- Educational Use: The Service is a learning tool and not a substitute for professional advice or formal education. Use it at your own risk.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Vidbyte shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service, including reliance on inaccurate or low-quality video content.
10. Termination
- You may cancel your subscription and stop using the Service at any time.
- We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms, with or without notice.
11. Changes to the Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes via email or within the Service. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
12. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of New Jersey, United States, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes shall be resolved in the state or federal courts located in New Jersey.
