Research pricing and capacity
Research Capacity is priced in research pages: structured, source-scoped artifacts—not generated word count. The exact price and cap for an expensive run are approved before work begins.
Starter
$29
90 research pages of monthly capacity.
Pro
$148
520 research pages of monthly capacity.
Scale
$49
Starts at 100 pages and scales to custom capacity.
1. Public capacity tiers
| Tier | Price | Capacity | Examples of included capability |
|---|---|---|---|
| Starter | $29 | 90 research pages | Research Summaries with findings, relevance, and recommendations · 3 active research threads |
| Pro | $148 | 520 research pages | Research Summaries or deeper Deep Dives · 15 active research threads |
| Scale | Capacity-sized or custom | 100–100,000 research pages | Research Summaries or Deep Dives sized with the slider · Up to 1,000 sources discovered per run |
Scale has listed capacity through 50,000 pages; purchases above that are arranged with the Vidbyte team.
2. What counts as a research page
One research page is one structured evidence artifact produced from one source. It includes the source and metadata, a link, a summary, relevance to your question, recommendations, and provenance/completeness information.
It is intentionally an outcome unit rather than a token quota: a short article and a difficult paper do not cost the same work to discover, retrieve, validate, and explain.
3. The quote comes before the work
An expensive run shows its scope, price, and approved limit before execution starts.
The harness pauses before spending beyond that cap instead of sending a surprise bill afterwards.
Completed artifacts and durable progress remain saved when a cap is reached.
Approving more capacity resumes pending work rather than starting the research from scratch.
